Recipes... Biscuits & Sausage Gravy Main Recipe: (2 servings, adjust as necessary) 8 buttermilk biscuits 3/4 pound of sausage (fatty sausage works best for this) 2 tbsp. butter 5 cups whole milk 4~6 tablespoons all purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. pepper Prepare biscuits as instructed on package (unless you have the time to make ‘em from scratch). Brown sausage in skillet. Remove sausage to a side plate and cut into small pieces. Add butter and flour to sausage grease. MIx and simmer for a minute on medium heat stirring constantly until the flour consumes all the butter and sausage grease. Return sausage to pan. Add milk, salt and pepper. Simmer over medium-high heat stirring constantly until desired thickness is reached.
