Recent Club Fishouts a work in progress.... Late November - December 2011 Steelhead season is approaching, and actually arrived in some areas already. We had some great fishing on the Lower Sac & Trinity Rivers. I know others have done some fishing in other areas and we’ve seen some great pics at the monthly meetings, plus a great presentation from Rabbi Bruce at the November monthly meeting. Striper season is here. The Delta season is kicking off. Plus I’ve had favorable reports from the Forebay. I know some members of another club who went surf fishing a few weeks back. It wasn’t red hot, but everyone caught fish. Which, for this time of year is already a good day. A Report On The Forebay by Alan Bienenfeld  These flies are afraid of the water at the Forebay!  Last trip Bruce and I got # 36 stripers 1.5-2.5 lb.  They hit like freight trains!  Bruce also caught 3 largemouth and that elusive tijuana trout, also known as golden steelhead!
