What’s New? August 12th: Added John’s president message to the Sep newsletter. Added a few pics from my recent trip to Loreto (Baja, CA) August 10th: Added something to the News Page... A nonprofit group that has two hatcheries which raise brown trout for the Eastern Sierra fisheries is having two tournaments each year to raise funds for their hatcheries.  On September 12th they are having the Skip Baker East Walker Open.  It’s a fly fishing tournament on the East Walker River and Bridgeport Lake. July 16: Updated August Newsletter Added Bacon Wrapped Turkey Filet Mignons recipe Added Tuna London Broil With Wasabi Creme Sauce recipe July 5: Added 2 pics and a few notes to the BeachFishingJournal from a morning at Rio del Mar Beach on July 1. Included a link to where I get my tide info and the tides and moon phases for Monterey Bay for the next 14 days. July 3: Added a few notes to the BeachFishingJournal from a morning at Rio del mar Beach on July 1. June 24: Put finishing touches on and distributed the July newsletter. June 18: Added a short trip report to the July newsletter from Doug Leach. June 16: Added a great Chicken Picatta recipe. May 28: Updated the Beach Fishing page with my latest trip to San Gregorio Beach (caught 4 small perch). May 27: Minor updates here and there. Finalized and distributed the June newsletter. May 18: Added a couple of new “HTML snippets” displaying the current Moon Phase, Weather & Satellite Images for Monterey. Added my latest trip report from beach fishing... May 16: Created a new page... (Beach Fishing) May 11: Added a few new recipes. (Biscuits & Gravy, Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits) May 7: I borrowed some ideas from other clubs...I hope they don’t mind... A whole slew of new pages were added...Conservation, Favorite Recipes, Our Friends. There’s also a News page for misc news articles that don’t fit elsewhere and are worthy of a page of their own. Check it out, there’s a really special article there this month... The calendar was updated to show the date of Dan Blanton’s Annual Striperfest fund raiser and BBQ. The links page has a bunch of new links. May 6: I added this page so that you can see what’s new since the last time you visited... I uploaded the latest version of the club Bylaws. I added a few things to the June newsletter... About half of the monthly newsletter is new anyway, but the other half repeats month to month by some degree. In those sections, what’s actually new, I’ll designate in this color... New site redirection completed. http://www.montereypeninsulaflycasters.org now comes to this site.
